Imagine such a sequence, in April your captain breaks his leg, December the same year your replacement captain breaks his too, in July the following year one or your two best forwards dies in a freak accident, in September your ex-captain breaks his same leg for a second time and in December your mid-field genius breaks his leg too. Moreover, although there are, of course, replacement, two of the most talented and obvious cannot play for your team, indeed have been, will be and are turning out for its rival of greatest longevity.
